Staff Spotlight
This is an area for our staff to showcase some of the fun and innovative ways they have either raised money for a community project, or assisted directly by volunteering.
Farmhands for a day
The Banking Products team played farmhands for a day at Collingwood
Children’s Farm in order to lend a hand to this unique community asset.

A team of about 20 spent a day at the farm, helping out with a range of
tasks from collecting firewood and raking up hay, to feeding animals,
weeding the veggie patch and setting up for the monthly farmer's market.

"Collingwood Children's Farm relies on groups of volunteers and has a range of requirements,
so we felt we could band together as a team and help them out," says Kelly Brown. And it seems
there was much to learn...

"We were asked to assemble two marquees for the farmer's market the following day. We split
into two groups of people, all with different ideas of how it should be approached. It was like an
episode of 'Survivor'! We eventually got them upright after several attempts."
