The Lui family settles in SheppartonSione Lui and his two children had been living in inadequate housing for more than seven years after migrating to Australia from Tonga. Now, thanks to Habitat for Humanity and the hard work of the ANZ Mortgages team from Shepparton in Victoria, Sione and his family have now moved into their very own home. The Mortgages team and local branch staff contributed over 300 volunteer hours to the project, while Sione himself contributed 500 hours. And the result has been worth every minute of it, with this Tongan family now able to lay down their roots in a community that has so enthusiastically extended a hand of welcome. |
