Getting MoneyMinded
Making informed and effective day-to-day decisions about how you use and manage your money requires knowledge and confidence. At ANZ we call it 'financial fitness' and we believe it can have a profound affect on overall well-being and quality of life.
In 2003, ANZ conducted the first ever research into financial literacy and discovered that many people were having difficulty managing their money. That's why we created MoneyMinded, a program that aims to build the financial skills and confidence of all Australians, particularly the most vulnerable.
MoneyMinded is now delivered across Australia by our community partners: Anglicare, Benevolent Society, Berry Street, Kildonan UnitingCare, The Brotherhood of St Laurence, The Smith Family and Mission Australia.
Since the program started, more than 1,300 MoneyMinded facilitators have been trained and more than 40,000 people have participated in the program.
