task to raise money for the Bidyadanga Community Library project in Western Australia, ending with a four-day Kimberley trek and a detour to visit the library. Over $116,000 was raised, all of which will go towards books and the operation of the library for the next five years. The Bidyadanga Aboriginal Community is the largest remote community in WA, with the nearest community library nearly 200 km away. The library project aims to make it easier for families in the community to access books and is sponsored by the Ian Thorpe Fountain for Youth and the State Library of WA.
