Community Fund Community celebrates for aged care 
When the Tasmanian community of Circular Head announced celebrations on
Australia Day 2007 to raise funds for a new aged care facility, ANZ Smithton
decided to jump on board.The word went out to all departments, and pretty soon, all sorts of giveaways came flooding in. We raffled an ANZ ‘fun in the sun’ pack, helped out on the day, and donated money for the appeal from the ANZ Community Fund. The SES and other organisations also did their bit. And of course the Circular Head community was there in force. All up the day raised $22,000 towards the facility. |
