Bankers in pyjamas
For ANZ Trustees, wearing pyjamas to work was a fun way to achieve a serious goal – raising awareness of and money for Melbourne's homeless youth.

"We wore our PJ’s to work to support Melbourne CityMission’s Youth Homelessness Campaign," says Trisha Broadbridge from ANZ Trustees. "Wearing your PJ's is fun, but it's also a reminder of the safe, cosy bed you left at home - the safe, cosy bed that thousands of young people don't have."

In Victoria alone there are over 23,000 people homeless on any given night, 7,000 of whom are young people aged between 12 and 24 years.

Trisha says that PJ Day served as a reminder that "with very little effort, we can make a significant contribution." And that's what they did - the team raised more than $1,100 for Melbourne CityMission.

Meeting the needs and interests of our people, customers, the environment, shareholders and the community is a balancing act that we’re working hard to get right.
